American Idols Part 4 : Disco Night

Despite straying away from the disco dancing vibe, Allen and Lambert definitely wowed the crowd and had the best performances for the night. Unlike the other contestants, Disco Night was saved–in the most un-disco way possible. Kris Allen stole the night with his rendition of Donna Summer’s working women’s anthem She Works Hard For The Money by bringing a hip spin to it (thus, received a huge standing ovation from the AI audience and Kara DioGuardi’s artistrty stamp of approval), while Adam stayed true to his uptempo-downtempo pattern by going downtempo on disco week with Yvonne Elliman’s If I Can’t Have You and bringing Paula Abdul to tears.

The ultimate "FISH CHEWREN"

It was soo crowded and packed but i went to ZOUK and dragged Zam with me JUST to support a very very dear friend of mine, the ULTIMATE fish chewren; Zac. He is one of the CLEO's 50 MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELOR this year. Purposely, wasn't really there to support him but wanna see him making fool of himself on stage with Serena C and Rasyhid Salleh; doing the CLEO's adaptation of Beauty Pagent. This handsome hunk konon-konon maintaining his low profile status contravene his CASANOVA attitude or perhaps Putri was there and he "takut" with her LOL!(Putri is his longtime girlfriend).

As predicted, its certain that Henry Golding (8TV Quickie Host cum model) wins the tittle. Albeit not winning CLEO MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELOR or any subsidiary tittle, Zac was being cool as cat & supportive to the show, as a matter of fact, everybody was!

To Zac, congratulations to you! (akhirnya ko masuk jugak dlm CLEO's 50 MEB kann!!!) even you're not eligible afterall :P

Miss USA 2009 controversy : same sex marriage question

True to form, this year's pageant was not without controversy as a result of the response from the 1st Runner-Up Miss California, Carrie Prejean to a question on same sex marriage.

"We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage,and you know what, I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offence to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised."

The Girl In The Green Scarf

The most sublimely-contemporary romantic comedy i've ever seen!! It's an enjoyable cautionary tale which everybody will love. As a matter of fact, watched it twice with my other mid-degree shopaholic hommies.
Alas, this is the truth! Vis-à-vis the perils of overspending on your credit card, the movie is genuinely honest. I got 5 credit cards myself, spend with a maximum limit but pay it with the lowest possible degree. It took me for almost 7 years to completely pay my bills. Ok now I’m down with 2 cards as I’ve made a full settlement for the others. Ok, I lied. 3 cards now; AMEX, CITIBANK (Visa) and HSBC (Visa).
Well, I can’t help it, its a (retail) THERAPHY because when we shop, the world become a better place and when it is NOT, then we shop again.

Until the cashier says : DECLINED…its really DECLINED :P

American Idols Part 3: JT Wannabe

Every seasons American Idols will elevate at least one rival to enter the realm of Justin Timberlake-ish and this year from what i can catch a glimpse of, its Matt Giraud!
He performs Stevie Wonder’s “Part-Time Lover" and contemporarily changed the arrangement.
